Located at 173 King Street in the heart of the city, Jardin St James, opened its gates in October, 2015. Positioned in the forecourt of Sydney’s oldest church we serve delicious French food and speciality coffee.
Inspired by French cafe culture and cuisine, we have taken that certain 'je ne sais quoi' and combined it with everything Sydney-siders know and love about their coffee.
The café is open for breakfast and lunch Monday to Friday and is complimented by a state of the art custom coffee cart open from 7am five days a week.
The café is a labour of love of French-born Julien Besnard. Julien has spent years in the hospitality industry and always dreamed of bringing a little bit of France to Sydney in the form of a French-inspired café.
With plenty of outdoor seating for sunny Sydney days and a gorgeous outdoor courtyard, JSJ can cater for both small and large groups.
In a unique twist, the café also offers seating inside the crypt of St James Church, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of the Sydney city.
